Caused a Crash. Claimed full responsibility on scene then refused when contacted by insurance
While stopped at a Red Light the driver put his Van in reverse and shot backwards into the car behind hard enough to fold the bonnet, smash the passenger side light fitting and damage the bumper as well as badly bruising the shoulder of the driver. On site claimed full responsibility/liability (to be expected given the other car was stopped with the handbrake on!) and seemed very worried about the other drivers health. However after several days of avoiding phone calls from the solicitor the story has suddenly changed and he now claims no responsibility at all leaving the driver with the damaged car out of pocket and very stressed with no car!
