Incident happened at approx 12.41am at River Heights Apartments, Stratford, London E15 2FU. Uber driver with registration BT65 VJM drove dangerously and recklessly this evening when he illegally stopped his car in a bike lane and allowed his passenger to swing the car door open into bike traffic on the bike lane when bicycles were clearly using it. I almost got hit by his car door. First of all he should not be stopping in a bike lane, second, he should use his mirrors, and third, he should inform his passenger not to swing the door open into a bike lane when there are bicycles travelling at speed. A cyclist can be killed by a car stopping in a bike lane and a car door swinging open into their lane. I am reporting this incident to the police as this is a traffic offense.
